LLC or sole proprietor in Armenia — which fits you?
Last updated:
A sole proprietorship (AJ) is fast and cheap: registration in a day, simple turnover-based taxation, and easy closure. It suits freelancers and consultants invoicing foreign clients.
An LLC separates your personal assets from the business, looks stronger to partners and banks, and allows multiple shareholders. It costs slightly more to run because of accounting requirements.
Tax regimes matter more than legal form: micro-business (0% up to a threshold), turnover tax, or the standard regime with VAT. The right choice depends on your revenue and clients.
We model both options with real numbers in a free consultation before you commit to either.
